The Fundamental Absurdity of Democracy

The fundamental absurdity of democracy is that it relies on something lesser to validate something superior. This is impossible, no matter how many lesser things you stack together you only have a lot of lesser things. To validate the superior thing, the source must either come from equals (a governing body of superiors) or from an even higher source, namely God.

Even the Democratic myth of universal equality is self-evidently false here, because once elected the leadership is clearly treated and given the prestige of superiority. They deny the superior while pretending the lesser have some immaterial power to create the superior. Unseen and hidden are the machinations of "voting" that it can somehow create superiority out of inferiority. What can we call this but false magic? Or perhaps merely absurdity.
